About
The STEMThink at Home series features videos, aimed at elementary and middle schoolers, that review a STEM concept and presents a scientific, hands-on experiment that further drives this concept home. This program was designed in order to provide kids across the world, without a STEMThink chapter in their area, with a way to access STEMThink. All STEMThink experiments can be performed in the comfort of the child's house, with materials that can be readily found in most households. The STEMThink at Home program is taught by our curriculum coordinators, and features lessons regarding all faucets of STEM, ranging from chemistry and biology to computer science and engineering topics. Each video features a short PowerPoint lecture with useful background information, followed by instructions and a demonstration of an experiment related to the topic. |
